Akrapovic Racing Exhaust System BMW R1200GS 2004-2009
Akrapovic's 2-1-2 Racing System satisfies riders who want to get the maximum power and torque out of their enduro machines. The GS1200 gets a major performance boost which will be very welcome for riders who like to ride in difficult terrain. In addition to the performance, the Akrapovic system is less than half the weight of the stock system. The new exhaust system will also be recognizable due to its sound, as the flat twin gets to breathe much more deeply. You will also save 4.77 kg compared to stock system.
Outlet cap, perforated inner sleeve and inlet cap are all made of titanium
Joint of the inlet cap is milled on a state-of-the-art CNC machine and connected by high-quality, silicon-shielded tempered springs
Include a lightweight, compact and high-temperature-resistant carbon fiber muffler clamp
Conical shaped and hydroformed header is made of stainless steel; crossover tubes may be installed on certain models
Link pipe may be cylindrical and in some models made of titanium; type of construction is based on maximum increase in performance
When the position of the exhaust system needs to be changed and the stock bracket is no longer usable a carbon fiber bracket is included
Power: Due to the enduro design of the motorcycle, the Racing System for the 1200 GS is designed to deliver a power increase throughout the rpm range. The fluctuations in the stock curve at around 4500 rpm are leveled, and max increased power of 8 HP is delivered at 4800 rpm. There is also a major increase around 6500 rpm.
Racing System uses stainless steel header tubes and link pipe
This system is a 2-into-1-into-2 design
Torque: Torque delivery with the Akrapovic Racing System is improved, with the drop-outs in the stock curve filled. This system will supply more than enough power and torque for enduro and cross-country riding.
WARNING: The Akrapovic Racing exhaust system cannot be fitted when BMW genuine side cases are fitted on the motorcycle.
